BUFFON 6.5 Prontissimo sulle pallonate, piuttosto centrali, che Iannuzzi e Murgita gli scagliano contro ripetutamente.
ZE MARIA 7 Devastante nel primo tempo. Salta Beghetto e si avventa sul povero Wome, serve l'assist dell'1-0, copre ciò che c'è da coprire
THURAM 7 Murgita e Iannuzzi lo fanno lavorare, lui si rimbocca le maniche dell'abito da cerimonia e lavora.
CANNAVARO 7 Si oppone con puntualità a un paio di tiri dal limite. In gran forma anche nei rilanci direttamente su Crespo.
BENARRIVO 6.5 Eccellente cursore nella prima fase di gara, poi lascia che siano gli altri a spingere.

CRIPPA 6.5 Efficace trampolino di lancio per Ze Maria, va senza fortuna al tiro.
SENSINI 6 Meno preciso del solito, lascia che sia Baggio a fare il padreterno del centrocampo.

D.BAGGIO 7.5 E' il ritratto della salute: il Vicenza lo vede partire da un'area e arrivare all'altra in 5 secondi netti. Ciclonica l'azione con la quale serve a Crespo il pallone del 3-0.

STRADA 6.5 Da applausi un assist che Chiesa non trasforma. Il duello con Mendez è alterno, ma il suo contributo non manca.
CRESPO 8 Con questi 3 fanno 11, e il bello è che arrivano in modi sempre diversi. Non sbagliava davvero chi (Ancelotti), anche nei giorni oscuri, lo giudicava un grande talento.
CHIESA 6 Sbaglia due gol fatti e s'innervosisce. Ma non deve dimostrare niente: già il fatto che dopo gli erroracci si ponga al servizio di Crespo (assist splendido per il secondo gol) e di Strada (quarto bersaglio sfiorato) testimonia del suo valore.
